THE JOY FACTORY... Is a unique sanctuary is designed to nurture your child’s creative, cognitive, and expressive abilities. We aim to support parents in nurturing their child's natural need for imaginative and creative experiences as well as cultivating inner calm for long term wellbeing. Facilitated by Sharon Kemp, a multi-professional with 25 years experience in performing and teaching Creative Arts, with a concurrent nursing career, arts therapy and meditation training. Sharon has a magical way with small children, and is devoted to supporting them to thrive in a complex world. THE DETAILS: This is a free trial session for children aged 4 to 6 yrs. An 8 week program runs for 8 consecutive weeks from Week 3 of the school term. The duration of this session is 1hr. VENUE LOCATION We have a wonderful space surrounded by nature and supported by the local Lions Club at Bunya/Arana Hills located in Brisbane's central northern suburbs. Our space adjoins the James Drysdale sporting fields with its entry from the Jinker Track. The facility is wheelchair accessible with ammenities and ample parking. There is a coffee shop open till 1pm daily if you would like to have a cuppa before we begin. * Numbers are limited per class. We require parents or care givers to be present for the duration of the class and we warmly invite you to be engaged with your child during the activities. This can be a special connection time between you. Children benefit enormously from shared fun & creative experiences with their parents.
Cancellation Policy
If the participant is unable to attend their scheduled session, please text Sharon on 0423 231 813 to notify her. Cancelations prior to 72 hours of first session, will receive a full refund while cancellations 24 - 72 hours will receive a 50% refund. Cancelations within 72 hours cannot be done online, only by directly contacting Sharon. No refunds available for cancellations within 24hrs or after the commencement of the program or workshop. Missed sessions for any reason will unfortunately be forfeited. If however, another program has a spot available in that same week, the participant will be offered a make up class.
